Hey you,
You don’t need another “life hack.”
You need to hear your own damn gut speak, clearly, wildly, without apology.
This isn’t about getting "better" at journaling.
It’s about remembering you already know.
Here’s a ritual to drop the noise and reconnect.
Before You Start:
Light a candle.
Breathe into your belly three times.
Trust your first instinct — no overthinking allowed.
The Prompts
1. What am I pretending not to know right now?
(Rip off the Band-Aid. You already feel the answer.)
2. What does "safety" feel like in my body?
(Describe it without using words like “good” or “bad.”)
3. If I fully trusted myself, what would I do next?
(Write it even if it sounds insane or impossible.)
4. Where in my life am I outsourcing my intuition?
(Who or what am I handing my knowing over to?)
5. What physical signs does my gut give me when it’s a YES?
(Think: tingles, warmth, ease, openness.)
6. What physical signs does my gut give me when it’s a NO?
(Think: tightness, clenching, nausea, dread.)
7. When was the last time I trusted my gut — and it was right?
(Write the whole story. Celebrate that moment.)
8. What fear has been disguising itself as "logic" lately?
(Call that little coward out.)
9. If my gut had a voice, what would it sound like?
(Gentle? Sharp? Ancient? Childlike? Write it out.)
10. What small, ridiculous, or sacred ritual could help me listen better?
(Examples: morning pages, tarot pulls, tea before phone scrolling, solo walks.)
Closing Ritual:
When you finish, don’t slam the journal shut and rush off.
Sit for 60 seconds.
Let your gut have the final word — no edits, no fixing.
Sometimes hearing your gut isn’t about finding an answer. It’s about honoring the fact you already have one.
